And immigrants? Or are they all being put in the same box?

If you mean am I in favour of immigration?   Not so much.

What if when our country, way back when before it had developed, had lost all its best, go getting people to some other more advanced nation? Would we still be living in caves? have overthrown the tyranny our ancestors lived under? Better people stay put and improve their own countries, maybe with help from other more advanced nations.

I’m not big in favour of immigrants either.
(immigrants sounds harsh as a word sometimes) but some foreigners do bring good to our country, but some times those individuals get seen as immigrants which i think is wrong. Its a huge subject to cover.

So you really think that a native would not step up and do the task, maybe for a little more pay?

Not saying they wouldn’t, different people have different qualities which can bring/create good in different countries. I just think its too easy to brand a foreign/different coloured/whatever type of person, from outside our own country an immigrant. I’m not judging you, was just fishing for your opinion thats all.

Am I missing something huck?, you said business wants cheap labour. Why pay more if we can have cheaper labour using migrants?

You appear to have missed my point. I have no interest in helping big business deskill all trades and pay peanuts to their staff, as they can easily be replaced by a never ending stream of cheap labour.

I'm all for skilled men earning a decent crust and supporting their families.
