Trigger Andy, what's your real name and where do you live? Town/city will do.

Same goes for Stihlmadasever, Vespasian, Matelot and Mull.

Just about everyone in this thread knows who each other is and where they live/work.

Apart from you five.

So spit it out.

Nothing to hide here. Most folk on Arbtalk know me well enough to call me by first name in many threads where I post.

My name is Tim Craig, tree surgeon from Glasgow.

Your turn. Expect the same from the others too that way we're all conducting this thread on an equal basis.

Why would you assume I have anything to hide?

Just because you demand this info does not for one second mean I'm obliged nor feel inclined to hand it over. Ask nicely and I'll consider it. ;)

I know very few on heres names or where they live.

If i know there name its because they use there name ie mark bollam, joe newton or steve bullman.

There are others on here who use different names timber cutter dartmore, silky fox or difflock...i dont know there names and i dont care.

Why the sudden urgency to know who and where people are all of a sudden?

What gives you the right to ask?

All my details are available on my profile so any member of this site can look me up.

I dont have a problem identifying myself,i didnt chose stihlmadasever because i needed aninimety i just like stihlmadasever.

Anyway im stephen, i live in helensburgh work in west dumbartonshire just outside glasgow.Im employed by the council as a tree surgeon and grounds maintenance.

I sub myself out as a climber/groundie/hand cutter or whatevers required to pay my morgage.

I am a pisces and enjoy warm summer evenings pulling my plonker to the macarena...

You seem to have a hard on for this like you've summit too prove scotspine...?

Why is knowing someones name suddenly provide an as you say equal basis.

I can debate with anyone on here i dont need to know there name and address to feel equal...how bizarre!

It comes across as a poor attempt at intimidation, I'm not sure why he feels the need to go down this route? Maybe he feels all good discussions should end with a punch-up down the local?

At a guess I'd say that there's a lot of strong opinions in this thread, the strongest from those using pseudonyms and giving nothing personal away.

Perhaps Tim is alluding to the fact that you all might not be so brave face to face when opinions (and insults) can be held accountable to those wielding them.

Or maybe I'm way off the mark
