Seriously....

How about 'preparing an act of terrorism'

Fits the bill nicely I would say.

The authorities didn't know he was "preparing an act of terrorism" though... or why did they not arrest him...

Sooner or later the general public will demand that potential terrorists are just locked up. The public will put the rights of children not to get killed ahead of the rights of terrorist sympathisers.

How about we nick the 800 Brits that have come back from fighting with IS?

Yep.

Would anyone trust a person that associated with groups that state they believe anyone from the west is their enemy and would kill you to look after your kids? Regardless of if they had commited a crime the danger is there and we're now talking kids lives on a night out

You cant just go around blowing up children with a nuts and bolts ball bearings bomb .

I am with you on this Stubbs, all children are our children and they should FFS be safe going to a pop concert. Dont know the answer but by fair means or foul this has to stop.

To be honest, there are enough offences already described under the 2006 terrorism act, they are just under utilised

2006 Terrorism Act? Wow! it looks like you know how to use Google!

There are 3,000 extremists walking about the UK. Why are they not arrested and charged then? If sending the lot of them to prison saves one life it's worth it.

The "human rights" of people that hate us and want to kill us should be of no concern.
