Sometimes you just have a rubbish day, and it's important to have a good bitch about it. Vitriol has real medicinal value.

Constantly positive people creep me the hell out.

Don't worry Joe, Jesus still loves you mate.

Good post. :)

Always set the benchmark high, too. Stretch yourself.

I'd go a step further there Chris....

The sweet feeling of achievement is best enjoyed after knowing the pain of disappointment from having set the bar too high and failed to achieve it.

not a money drainer lazy high maintainence type.

Best hiring that in as required! Just pay for the bit you want....

The brain is the most important part of the body, but it's not much use if your body doesn't work very well.

Unless you're Stephen Hawking.

Education is important, but big biceps is importanter.

Only worry about things you can influence - then confront the problem with action.

I sometimes think about how I struggle as I get older. I can't stop ageing so I try to arrange things differently and use the younger guys to do the harder physical stuff.

I try not to worry about the jobs I didn't win, and concentrate on doing a great job on the ones I did.

I have never been concerned about others having bigger houses, flashy cars etc. I ask myself 'am I happy with what I've got and where I'm likely to get to'?

Treat yourself well in life - you only get one.

Treat others well in life - they only get one.

Clever is more importanter than big biceps. Brains are brilliant and everyone should have them. :laugh1:

Achieve every goal by only rewarding yourself with cake upon completion.

More goals; more cake.

Cake is where it's at.

cheers, steve

That reminds me of the saying: Working life is a shitsandwich, the more bread you earn the more sh1t you eat. :)
