You didn't mention if these two chaps threatened you in any way...

 

theres a difference between battling away and coming out on top in a good fair fight... and beating someone up on account of catching them in your yard and, the two opponents are scarred stiff...

 

I'm all for a smack in the mouth, as a lesson but not for beating them up on account of the crimes of others...

 

Pitch dark night , i had my 9 year old Daughter in the car when i went to check the yard , i never asked many questions until i was happy they were no threat to my Daughter or myself . And no they were not exactly friendly when i turned up.
