How was your day?

I think a thread where we can relate anything interesting or even the mundane that happened in our lives during the day might have legs (works elsewhere, gives an insight into others lives)

Doesn't have to be work related or include pics.

Today I spent the morning in the supermarket with the wife. (Big outing!)

Then priced a job, picked up some money from another client, then a friend gave me a call to say he had a couple of old cartwheels in a barn I could have,

I'll incorporate them somewhere in the garden even if they're just leaning against the barn wall in a kind of "abandoned farmyard look"

Well so far today I've been in the pub. Now sat with my local chainsaw dealer watching France vs Ireland

I've had a thoroughly miserable week following a dental procedure last week so today I'm doing as little as possible!

I've had a number of painful injuries as a result of poor tackling at football, poor driving and falling out of trees! None of them came close to the pain I had when they took my wisdom teeth out.

You have my sympathy.

Well I have had the kids as my good lady was in Bristol working.

 

Took the boys Thai boxing this morning, then Nandos for lunch. Dropped my 4 year old off at a Star Wars party and me and the 8 year old have just watched guardians of the Galaxy.

 

Now the missus has come home, we high fived and the kids are hers now.

Been on quotes today. (9 altogether) Not many immediate takers, couple of big ones I'm waiting on. Bit quieter than I'd hoped. Off to by a valentine card, flowers and prezzy for the Mrs.

Feet up with a nice meal and a DVD tonight. Knackered so I'll probably fall asleep half way through.

So far going brilliantly. I booked a weekend away as a surprise for my wife,for Valentine's, drove 107 kms, did a quote 15 minutes away from the hotel,arrived,booked in and now sitting with a couple of pints in me watching the French stuffing the Irish. Life can't get any better than this. Brownie points in the bank unless I get p...ssed.
