We will be moving over to firewood production at the end of this month.   The picture below is a bit of a cheat as it shows some of last year's haul.

Been splitting some Black Walnut today. 30" dia and a 9' stem made a fair bit of firewood.

 

Were no gun makers interested in it first??

Similar for me, but massive straight yew, if only there was another use for it

Just seemed to got through a spate of hitting nails that were right in the centre of huge rings. :thumbdown:
