People just don't understand what an Auction actually is, you bid you win, you PAY and the seller SELLS, end off and no grey areas.

Well that's the way it ought to be (provided the item is as described) but online auctions have changed the dynamic.

Places like ebay have opened auctions to the masses which unfortunately includes any number of people willing to "cock on a deal"

eBay are a criminals dream.

They're up there with BT and the company who sold me my big cock pills as the most unscrupulous companies on the planet.

That's where you went wrong mate, the big cock ones don't work, what you need are the massive dick ones. I know loads of people who have taken those and they have worked a treat 😂

Well I've decided not to let this guy wind me up, but he's not getting away with thinking I'm gullible either. So i'm going to open an ebay case, nothing will come of it as they can't call round his house and force him to hand it over, but at least he'll know I'm onto him. He lives in Totton Hampshire by the way.

And the lesson there is, if they list as collect only, don't try to talk them into something else. All that has done is provide then a little wriggle room (woe is me, their courier failed to collect and now I am down half a day waiting in for them) which is all ebay needs to decide in their favour.
