Yeah bulldog is certainly one of the better makes and one that insurance companys want to see you using. Alot of the cheaper ones you could have off (without the key) in less than 90 secs.

While we're on the subject, anyone used the bulldog euroclamp?

I've got the bigger one but been thinking about getting one of these for out and about to make life a bit easier

I used to use a high end bicycle U lock through a wheel and around the suspension arm.

I may go and measure up and see if this is also viable on our GM190. A couple of those would certainly slow down a theft.

Trying to think like a criminal would you not just hitch it up and drag the chipper down the road until the lock disintegrated? Never seen one that would hold up to much

I had on my chipper wheel clamps on each tyre and a head lock.. Also a chain concreted in that I put over the axle and two security bollards blocking the entrance which none of stood a chance against a cutting torch.

The tyres would blow before a decent "U" lock gave up.

What ever you people buy make sure it doesn't have a key system similar to a vending machine ie a circle type lock n key . These locks are so easy to open ?

Many bike locks and u locks have the same key system ...... They are joke really

Home made security is the best by far . Although not certified . The crooks are up against something different  Get a welder and get inventive: thumbup1:
