I thinned a small block of very tall spruce a few months ago. There were a few massive monkey puzzles along the track on the edge of the block. Turns out this one is the biggest in England. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1447582564.014681.jpg.4289a384326347125f9cf6a3de1e12ed.jpg

We allowed two days to take down a monster Monkey puzzle and the lads took five. Also one of the few trees we have done that filled the bin with chip (60 cube) and the timber trailer to the neck. Heavy time consuming feckers

Worst job I ever had, took me 2 days and I only put a day on it. If I ever do one again I will double the quote and get a subbie in to climb it.
