Crazy stuff, was there last weekend for a get together with family.

Absolutely stunning city. What this will mean for France's foreign policy I don't know.

I suspect they'll get more involved.

You know the French Mick, they will not mess about with kid gloves. I have just been on the phone to our daughter at Limoges, luckily she is switched on being an Army child, to be constantly aware. Things can only get worse rather than better. Vive La France.

Thinking of all the family and friends and those affected by the attacks in France last night.

Merci, France bleeds but not for long & my thoughts with all those who have suffered loss in this terrorist incident.

Just heard it all on the radio this morning really terrible - boarders are closed

Reprisal for killing Jihadi John perhaps? hope they sort them out, Europe is too soft on this.

It is a very sad thing, in any conflict the great proportion of people affected and killed are civilians, but any time they are deliberately targeted is beyond reason.

Thoughts to the families and France.

Its what I thought while ruminating on this tragedy..

Perhaps it is, or maybe Friday the thirteenth had more to do with it...

who knows, I suppose we'll find out soon enough...

I don't know if the news media haven't reported it, but Merkel seems to be very quiet... Did she sleep well last night?...
