I ended up getting the bfg s cheaper than the Coopers price also couldn't get the coopers in the right size for my disco 2 in the end

 

How you getting on with them mate?

Don't handle as well on the road at all compared to road tyres so no fast cornering now. Noise isn't really bad but off road in mud etc it barely ever spins the wheels now

I've always thought the bfg were overrated,

I've Cooper stt on my motor very happy with them.

Folk see the white writing on the bfg and think they must be special certainly everyone round my way finds they are overpriced when there are better value tyres around.

The BFG's are only £40 more than the cooper STT's. White writing is also an option on the STT's :laugh1:

On my Coopers it started out as blue writing . Eventually went white as I scuffed the side walls :biggrin:

There a bit down in tread now but the BFG muds have been on the cherry picker for about ten years, considering the thing is three ton I dont think they have done bad, its also worked in some crap in its time and I cant remember having to pull it out.

When you're up to axles in crap, the writing on all tyres is brown!
