I buy them for £2 to £3 per pair, last about 1 1/2 weeks climbing. Reckon good balance cost longevity, once worn they start to get pulled into hitches and spiderjack which trashes them. Cheap copies last barely a day so waste of space. I f startto sting sling in washiung machine, they come out super sticky.

Can't recommend these enough. They are very hard wearing but comfortable. Come in different sizes and well worth sortingbthe best size. The rubber wears thin fairly quickly but the basic glove remains very usable. Recently with a lapse of concentration I ran a silky across my thumb. Slight damage to glove, almost none to my thumb. Without these I thinking would have been a very nasty injury.

+1 very good all round glove, and they last longer than the competition. I prefer Pfaner for climbing personally, but these are a close second.

I use these ones (pic below) the petzl cordex climbing gloves .

Couldn't recommend them enough. Great pair of gloves and do a great job of protecting you're hands and keeping them warm whilst climbing especcialy in the winter months.

There are £ but are worth it because they will last you a long time if you use them for just climbing. I had a pair of black petzl cordex gloves before these ones and they lasted me 3 years then i had to chuck them due 2 a couple of holes that ripped bigger but i thing they were due to a couple of cuts from a silky.

I don't use a mechanical set-up so i cant say whether they are good at avoiding getting snagged but i can remember on one of the zigzag promotion photo's the guy is using these gloves with the zig zag so i assume that's not a problem.
