i think aerial rescue cs38 is a gooden to have, even if you never want to climb, being able to do it means you will be more useful to an employer

yeah i have been subbied in for people and they have wanted to send me out with a groundie with aerial rescue and had to juggle things around to be able to do this.

 

lots of people aren't bothered i agree, i often climb with no aerial rescue, just saying for some firms a groundie with aerial rescue is a plus. yah?

Have a look at the register of tree work operatives website. Click through the different grades and see what pre requisites are assigned to each of the different roles /grades in there. May give some idea as to what to look at.
