70k very low mileage for the year.

A good buy if it's genuine :)

Of course it's genuine...... The bloke on Ebay says it is.:001_rolleyes::biggrin:

I've got an 06 plate that's only done 80k miles, two owners from new, (me being the second), gave thirty two hundred quid for it, cracking van....... Take some hunting out mind.

Prices have shot up lately... 3.5t market is a sellers market these days.

Compared to what you pay for a 7.5t truck...

The only part of that that would take any time is the kingpin, the rest is just fiddly but fairly straight forward. I put new discs and pads on the Berlingo Sunday, cost £47 and a couple of hours work including 2 drinks of tea.

That's what i was thinking.

Depends what kit you've got too I suppose. As for the other bits you can either spend he time fiddling, or avoid that part of the test and fix it later when you have time / funds.

I use a panel van for trees, but my main forte is gardens. When I do a tree we mallet it down in the back of my transit with a chainsaw. It's not ideal but it's amazing what you can fit in my swb transit!! Due to the part time nature of my private work I can't afford/justify a tipper and chipper, but if you're doing it all day everyday the tippers gonna pay for itself.

Sold now anyway. I have only had this tipper for 10 months so reckon it was a dodgy MOT as I only did max 5K myself and it only did 8K in the last 12 months.

Paid £800 and sold for £650 - so it cost me £150 for 10 months :) I basically do much more gardening and jet washing than tree work these days. I do have a little Belingo van as well. In fact it only went out about 1 or 2 days a week in the summer max. Last winter Ok it was out most days doing tree work with my chipper

So I reckon a panel van might be for my business a better plan + talk customers into keeping the chip :)
