Corbyn Elected

I freely admit to not following politics very closely and have seen nothing of the Labour election campaign, but after reading the '24 things Jeremy Corbyn believes' article on the BBC news website I think he sounds like an interesting chap with some refreshingly optimistic and outward looking views.

Maybe he's too 'different' to be able to flourish, but I like him!:001_smile:

Don't know mate! Do you? Plenty money in oil a year ago, no money in it at the moment, fuel is cheap!

Oil is as important to England wales Northern Ireland, not just scots that work or receive revenues from that industry.

Yeah, OK, if you really think that....

Today:

Corbyn elected Labour leader.....

Therefore - Time for another independence referendum!

Tomorrow:

EU referendum...

Therefore - Time for another independence referendum

Prince Charles accedes to the throne...

Therefore - Time for another independence referendum

King Alec sneezes....

Therefore - Time for another independence referendum

Interesting times ahead for your country too Ted. Was going to ask your thoughts on Mr Trump?

Since all polls are rigged to shape and or influence the results of any given situation or event I believe if the existing list of Presidential hopefuls don't pull their heads out of their backsides soon and stop reacting to personel insults and remarks by the Donald he may very well become the next nominee for President of the USA. For now he continues to push the buttons of most of the voting public, however people will grow tired of this approach in time:thumbdown:

The Donald may very well think he can ride out this nomination process and become the candidate for the Republican Party. I find his actions with the media humorous, especially since he really does not need to play ball with them.

Donald can and will continue to alienate him self from the media and the rest of the field since seemingly so far no other candidate is willing to discuss the issues in the matter and format of his choosing. Out of 16 candidates left on the republican side only 3 are not considered career politicians. Of the 13 left the money and time will run out soon enough. Personally I do not want the carpet bagger and family living at 1600 Pennsilvania Ave. ever again. I also do not want the communist from Vermont who is now the medias favorite one a be Jack Ass there as well. The Jack Ass party will be giving him the deep six in due time. One communist for the last Two terms has been more than enough damage to this country:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Too early to tell who I will support going forward, will just have to wait and see when and if the other actors can or will stop and act on behalf of the majority of the voting population and is willing to defend and protect the U.S. constitution.

As long as the Donald continues to remain as he is deals will have to be made for cabinet positions left and or lobbyist jobs until the next election cycle.

Ha Corbyn has the strength of his convictions eh?? Seems to be backtracking now on the NATO exit.. lefty halfwit...

To be fair to the man, Labour Party leadership was never his aim, think it's just a sign of the confused state that politics is in at the moment, but I'm pretty sure david will keep everything in order meantime.😳
