Who greases

Our old machine driver who unfortunately passed away recently was a stickler for greasing up his machine, a box of thirty 36 would last a month in the yard and at least thirty of those would be used by Brian. I was having a sort out and checking the shelves when I noticed that the last box I purchased six months ago still has 10 in there. Thats bad enough but we have two extra machines out there at the moment

Does anybody care or bother now?

I'm a greaser (an old mod, really).

If it's got a nipple I grease it.

I am not an over-greaser! I use Morris K2EP Red in the harvester and forwarder; should use the black stuff in pins and bushes so I put plenty in the crane; bonus of it being red is you can see where you've been. I grease up every friday; some do it daily - I think that is over-greasing... thus 1 tube/week ish...

Can you recommend a cordless gun? :thumbup1:

Not sure what mine is probably a Chinese one but it has worked everyday for 2years now it cost about 150 quid from our local bearing factor

Most tool company's do them but they a probably made by a couple of company's but badged up with a branded logo

Snap on do one but it's probably mortgage money
