Not used a 372 but I love my 576, it's a pre autotune one mind, not that I've heard anything bad about autotune? Its very very smooth, easy to hang onto for hours and bags of go. Not had any problems in 18 months, other than those caused by user error :blushing::blushing:

Been looking at these saws myself on a saw comparison husqvarna site. I think it's comes down to user experience with each saw on preference really. Myself, think I'm swayed to 576 because it's slight less noise and most importantly for me (because 3 out of four fingers and half my hand turn white then blue/white and feels like I can shoots beams of lightening through the ends of my fingers) has less vibration.

The comparison is closer than it used to be. If the 576 was up against the older 372 there'd be no question to answer, but the newer 372 (or 365:sneaky2:) is a softer saw.

Having heard of a few carb issues on the autotune 576, I think I'd still be swayed to the 372.

The thing that struck me when the 575 came out ( for runner to the 576 ) was that it made no more discernible power than a 372 but weighed nearly as much as a 385 . This to my mind made it a pointless saw .
