Had the little AGT again for flailing brambles today. Steep banks and dodging flytips mainly!

I am constantly impressed what terrain these little alpines can work on.

I like the little fleming. I was considering a 1.5t myself. Looks like good value.

Handy little trailer. Well built and solid. Good size tyres too. They are very small and I would have preferred the 2t but the grounds so wet I'd end up overfilling it and sinking!

Not long since got a BCS Volcan 750 and having nay of the teething problems mention in this thread. How did people get on with extended arms? Not sure whether to extend the arms, or adapt the winch (Igland 3501). It will also be running VM180 Flail. Not sure which way to go, I'll try the flail tomorrow and see how the shaft fits before committing to anything!

Combination of poor tyre pressure, slopey ground and uneven loading.

If it had been anything other than an alpine it would have probably tipped the tractor too.

Surprised just how easy these little trailers will tip.

How about converting to hydraulic like we have done with our farmi so we can run it on the front of the valtra then you can keep it close meaning you can skid more without lifting the front and keep the flail close for stability and less swingout when turning.

I might have a look at that, how did it cost? Always the first question 😉

Still got to sort out why the arms aren't lifting to Thier full potential, hopefully have the relief valve off tomorrow.

Was about 600 I seem to remember for motor, pipes, mounting plate and adaptor so it just slides onto splines where shaft would normally go, takes less than 5 min to remove and change back to a pto shaft.

Sourced it from Kilworth tractors who were very helpful indeed.

You could probably get away with a smaller motor as your winch won't take as much driving and you probably have a bit less oil flow.
