Bosses dog doo doo!

Bosses how are you tackling the problem of heavily pooped gardens? I went to a big garden today and it was choka not a square metre clear!

I find customers vary some understand and clear it up others can get very put out and defensive when requested to clear it up.

With work getting tighter and social media so popular etc I find it a tricky one. But I still refuse to get covered in carp for any amount of money, and I certainly wouldn't expect employees to work in situations that I wouldn't work in.

I always ask the customer to clear up prior to us doing the job & always have poo bags with me if I have pick it up myself.

I have found that they pay quicker too if you have picked up for them as they tend to be a little embarrassed.

I did a huge patio area back to grass in March and went back 2 weeks ago to replace 15 6x6 fence panels ,the grass seed I put down has been battered with dogs digging and the 30 plus Dog poos , I was heart broken and turned away so I have 15 panels in Stock !

Also I do crop circle's with the mowers .

Had a situation similar . Worked round it all but found a bundle of bamboo canes and pushed one in next to every lawn sausage as a marker . Must of embarrassed customer as next day they were all cleared up .

Crop circles and bamboo cane ideas are the way forward. Dogs can actually be trained to do it in a special location.

Just too many domestic dogs on the planet in the hands of people that don't bother with them in the right way or spend enough time.

I don't bother with risk assessments but I write off dog bombing ranges and go elsewhere to work most of the time.
