Nah no air con, I don't drive the loader just run the timber and chip on my non air con truck!

I always think the days like that are pretty cruisy, all the hard work has been done, right?

In reality they're pretty knackering.

Still enjoy them truck runs, mind.

Scratched to bits after topping conifers with Garry (Breffni on here) but nice weather and a few laughs, all in all a good day. Another stretch of conifers and 2 large apple trees to remove/chip and hopefully be finished in time for a swift pint on friday :thumbup1:

Steady day on the tractor running stumps out from a small site clearance mind still made 4 loads in a 14 ton dump trailer, glad it was a steady day as woke up on the sofa last night with severe leg cramps in both legs and once it eased and went to bed could'nt get to sleep, booked into the quacks next week to get them looked at, as I've had it on and off for a while now.

Been out on the Ktm enduro bike again this afternoon and evening, rode miles and miles along the hills and moorlands of Mid-Wales, through the vast Hafren forest and back home again to wash the bike off, perhaps i shouldn't have gone out alone as who would of found me if anything went wrong, but i'm back in one piece.

Good day doing local council work two largish sugar maples dismantled and felled filled the lorry by 11oclock. Then dismantled three small limes next to a house and finished off felling and winching a horse chestnut up a foot path to the lorry on the road. Wouldn't have been so good if we hadn't of had the Vermeer with the winch!

Have you tried drinking tonic water? The quinine is meant to help prevent it. :001_smile:
