When a customer asks for a perfectly healthy larger tree to be removed how do you deal with it? Push for an alternative? Refuse? Or just get on with it before someone else does?

90% of arb work is removing healthy trees, get used to it or change jobs would be my advice :001_smile:

I try and give them other options and have once persued the tree protection route with the local council for a native tree, but when no one wanted to know about it I went ahead and did it. After we removed the tree the client remarked how exposed they were to the neighbours now.. Yes.. Just like I said you would be.. *facepalm*

Cheers for the replies, mostly helpful.....some not so much:)!

Reason for asking is I've just been to look at a job that someone else refused to do, it's a nice beech but not out of the ordinary. Just thought it was a bit unusual
