I agree at say 10am brew time but I've hear of lads having brew in arrival which lasts half an hour, then a bit of work and then brew time. I like to get on site and crack on then brew at 10, where I have brought coffee with me.

Couldn't agree more. nothing more unprofessional than turning up and spending the 1st half hour drinking tea.

Me- I rarely work in an urban environment so always take a thermos with me. stop at 11ish for a quick break and then 2ish for a bit longer.

If I was working a day rate- I would hate to think the customer thought as me being lazy and sitting round drinking tea all day so I don't take the p*ss in that respect. I'd prefer they called upon my services another day because they thought we were hard workers.

:thumbup:I ask for coffee it's normally instant but jaysus those golden days when you get fresh coffee:thumbup:

 

I usually go for tea as bad tea's usually marginally better than bad coffee, but sometimes I'll take a gamble and usually it pays off with a fresh coffee

 

Been caught out a time or two though where they've had a jar of instant for the hired help

 

Been on a job recently where we'd been there 3 or 4 days altogether - didn't get offered a cup of tea until about half an hour before we left on the last day.
