I know, but when coupled with his other posts on this thread, it implies he is giving weight to the person he is quoting. I'm just wary of new members posting controversially, posting exclusively on controversial threads. It's not a productive way of integrating into a community.

That is fair. He might agree with said quote. No-one's asking anyone else to. Very fine line between free speech and thought police; latter is very very nasty and I take offence at it haha :laugh1:

Political views, religious views and chainsaws are all personal preference, we're all allowed our views whether you agree or disagree it doesn't matter, when you get personal and start name calling you have lost. Some folk on here are getting a bit carried away. Now I'm off to wash the Bentley.

I would have thought you had a man who does that

Can I just make the point to all the UKIP supporting, immigrants are to blame for everything, vocal voices on this thread...

You are nothing more than the winner of a genetic lottery, you have achieved nothing extraordinary by being born to British parents, it was not your skill or superior intelligence that allowed you to live in a first world country with all the benefits that this brings,

And yet a lot of you have the nerve to bang on about others having a 'sense of entitlement'.

It really is quite laughable.

On a totally unrelated note i'm reminded of a famous quote..... 'Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience'

Unfortunately the problem lies in what people see or deal with first hand ,the worse violence and crimes varying from drug dealing to theft seem to be carried out by ... At best can be described as ethnic minority's so you can't really blame people for having an opinion... I read an interesting article about an Iranian doctor who's daughter was beside her self that he voted for ukip because as a doctor in a hospital he could see first hand health tourism and was disgusted the way other migrants came to the UK and refused to integrate in to our society which was some thing he made very clear bringing his children up was important, I think he had some very valid points.

Well the person I quoted discovered DNA, he received a Nobel prize for doing it. You seem a smart person, I presume you know what a Nobel prize is?

To be frank I think I'd have to be absolutely stupid not to give weight to what a Nobel prize winner says about his specialist field....

It's fairly well known that races are physically different. For instance Africans are brilliant 100m runners, but whites are better at swimming. Is it really that crazy that the races have different levels of intelligence?

Look at the quote, he's implying that our approach to Africa is wrong, if we changed our approach to Africa and it reduced the amount of suffering would that not be a good thing? Or do we just have to accept pictures of starving children on our telly for ever more?

This from my local rag yesterday - perfect example of what you've posted.
