Dog/Cat Feaces on lawn/Paths

I was at some allotments the other day and a fellow was explaining to me where he would like some chip tipped the next time i was over that way.

As i walked off a path near his plot i thought ide stood in a load, "oh you dont want to worry about that,it wont hurt you" he said,but my boots were clean,he then looked at his own training shoes which were loaded up with it.

He went absolutely bonkers threatening to kill the dog and its owner if he found them.

I had to chuckle to myself.

I hit a small tin of Dulux Gloss white with the metal blade once ...What a hoot !

 

I worked with a guy who hit a can of spray paint with one of the Stihl curved metal blades - that made him colourful in clothes and language!

I've seen someone (on here) hit a full nappy with a brush cutter. He was NOT happy

 

What about wildlife, nothing like a mashed up frog being splattered over you , that's why I always strim with a full plastic visor

I strimmed a dead rabbit once. First I tasted fur then it stank I reached. I found the customers hose which was miles away then I had a clean up. I did not feel right until I had a shower later that evening. That cant be helped dog crap can. I never have strimmed paint i bet its funny

I've managed to hit a dog poo bag that was thrown into some bramble. Whats the damn point of picking it up then lobbing the back into the bush. If you leave it there at least the insects will do what they want with it over a few days rather than a sealed bag hanging around 3 foot off the ground.

i have strimmed a dog poo bag. obviously had been sat there a while festering. thought i had hit a slug at first got me face, big blob on hand and soaking in through me craghoppers- had a plastic visor on that was also caked.

I do a fair bit of rights of way work in the summer months. One path in Ottery St Mary springs to mind. Broken glass, used needles and a used condom. I gave up.

Dog poo seems to be on all paths, the closer to houses the more there is. I swear every time and when I see one curl one out and it's owner doesn't clear up, God help 'em. I do not hold back!

you could strim a field full of cream cakes and not get any on your face,the minute you hit dog/fox/cat shite its straight in your mush

Maybe stick a clause in terms and conditions, any animal faeces present upon commencement of works that has to be removed by the company will be charged at£45 in addition to job quote cost. If it, or animals present at time of quote, make reference to it and highlight t and c number within spec of job.

I was pigeon shooting in a wood with a public footpath running through it today. When I got back to the car and took my swiss trac off the wheelchair( the swiss tras tows the chair off road) I put my hand on something soft on the push rims. Yes you guessed it not mud but dog poo. Just because they are in the country they never bother to pick it up!
