I'm sorry but I'd struggle to pay him the full amount. I've had lads come work for me before and in my first hour have done more than them.

Climbers getting numerous saws stuck then dropping a top on the chipper

Lads been left to chip with hired in chipper and leaving it in a field next to property while they went to get a Macdonolds breakfast 16 mile round trip.

Neither of thesa two examples were paid what was agreed will I loose sleep over it no just use lads I know now.

Be the bigger man, stand by your word and pay the agreed amount.

 

But in all honest you should have shown him the door within the first few days or moved him onto piece rate.

For once I agree with Skyhuck , pay him up and move him on . You will soon forget about him and he will becom insignificant to you .
