I had tempur for ten years. They are great but not if you are like me and toss and turn all night. Problem is they take a while to mould to you as it's the hear from your body that helps it to mould and if you are moving all the time ???

I

Our lass goes to sleep and dunt move all night (that happens too often lately) and she thought it was great. I think they do different firmness ratings too. I would go for the softest and get the expensive over blanket too, it helps with the heat

It took a good few days to get rid of my back ache after we changed the mattress. Everyone is different and you can't tell just by laying on a mattress you need to sleep on one. If you go the pocket sprung route the amount of springs is not the be all and end all you need a good quality spring otherwise they fail after a year or so. A good brand of bed spring is calico.

Out of interest I stay in a lot of Travelodges, they all have new good quality , possibly Sleepezee mattresses and there is a sign on bedside cabinet offering home delivery of said mattress, king size £399. We just had a new memory foam mattress and if we hadnt, I would have ordered one of these as was very impressed with comfort. Tempur I believe are in factory outlets, McArthur Glen etc so maybe a deal there

Definitely important to get the correct density/stiffness for your needs. Relative had a Tempur on trial for a month but were not advised by the Tempur company about different densities beforehand. Mattress got returned in less than two weeks, as it was making a bad skeleton worse and a good back bad.

They weren't offered different mattresses and the company just said, that maybe their type of mattress would not be suitable for everyone. They only found out about differing density from a different manufacture. But by that time, they'd gone off the idea; and went for an individually pocketed mattress. And pleased they did so.
