i think "white noise" should have his account either suspended or deleted in my opinion. after troubled times no one need to be insulted like that.

I think people should cut white noise a bit of slack for what may be a few missjudged comments in a time of stress or financial difficulty he may be in at the moment.

 

Not taking sides and I don't know the fella but it would be a shame to see a member hounded out.

 

Mark Bolams post seems to have been overlooked a tad here, I'm sure things would be different if discussed over a beer rather than in a few forum posts.

I am puzzled by all this,If you give someone a charitable donation and then they win the lottery are you going to expect it back. I have always found Jonathan to be an honest and honourable bloke and he was going through a pretty crap time

What I said was probably to close to the bone for most on here . I apologise for that and that alone . Hound me out , Evict me if you will . Although asking for help with vet bills and then only months later having thousands of pounds of wood for sale just seems odd very odd ? I will say no more on this matter . If the person whom I donated money to wins the lottery the next day , well I,m happy for them . It may be hard for many of you to understand this but I really love to see people do well in life . My gut feeling on this one is what it is and I will stand by it . In all my years as an Arbtalker I have never stepped out of line but this just strikes me as an odd . Make of this post what you will people .

I've offered to return your money, I've offered to show you my sales figures, you can see the copies of the veterinary bills for Katie and I didn't ask for your money in the first place.

Jonathan I,m really not interested in who youve worked for and seeing vets bills and the like . I just think on your original post of your dog being poorly you came across as is if times were hard and your were struggling ? Hence my donation . Im stating facts . Your just going over the top now by offering this that and the other ? When in reality you could of paid all bills yourself .......Just my gut feeling . I mean if any of my dogs were ill and the money was not there I for one would sort it out to the best of my ability on my own ...bank loan credit card or other . Regards Paul Bell
