I was just asking for opinions.

Don't worry about asking, ... really, don't worry about asking. i think your bang on the money. Best to start with a price that you think is fair.

Think of a number, add 15%. Done

Or, work out an hourly rate, estimate how many hours and greenwaste fees if there are any. Add 15% :)

Or do it on an hourly rate and just tell the client it will work out cheaper this way.

go at a day rate of 450 and work it out from there. i find it easier to work out how much time i might spend on a job in comparison to what the job may be worth. if you don't have a chipper i wouldn't charge for the extra time taken to get rid of the arisings... hope this helps!

Ok, you're new to this fair enough but you need to start now at understanding how to run a business.

First work out your running costs, insurance, equipment, fuel. Then your wage and then waste disposal costs. Add them up and put some profit on and it up and there you go. Don't work for cheap as the customer will always expect cheap prices.

If you are new to this job and you do the job for £180 then two things can happen ..............you either p..s the job in no time or it takes two days and sweat your bollocks off ,either way it will teach you a lot so just go for the job and take it on the chin if it takes longer .

Being new to job then i take it you wont have a big setup or staff etc to worry about so crack on chief .
