Any means to incorporate a pocket/fastener etc for a 500ml gym plastic water bottle? I was gaggin this summer!

WTF. Pockets just create snag points imo

But I agree with the other points above and I'll add I think it's important to make sure the inside leg is stitched well so they don't rip open when you do the splits dragging up a muddy banking and they don't rip at the bottom where your boots rub together when walking.

One thing I'd like to see in the jacket is the mobile phone pocket near the neck which you get with the harkie smock, I find that's a great feature to stop you phone getting smashed when carrying logs and you can hear it when it rings even with yer muffs on.

I know we're talkin about the pants tho :001_smile:

Zips to the knee for going over bigger boots.

No belt loops, yes braces/bungee cord waist

Reflective/hi viz strips

Ditto articulated fit, plus reinforced knees/inner ankles/bum

Colour, who cares? So long as they aren't council spec hi viz I'm happy

And long legs, so many companies don't do waterproof trousers in a useful length.

For the record I'd say these are the bench mark of waterproof trousers. All they need is real reinforcement at the knees...

all the ideas above are good , i would also like to see some reinforced fabric on bum, knees and on inside of ankle (always get small rips in waterproofs from saw or small branches) . Also will the leg zip have storm flap and all zips be waterproof zips?

Don't fancy them over chainsaw pants, how quick can u put them on? For me the Berhaus deluge are the best as they are cheap and keep you dry.

Full length side zips so getting them on is a piece of cake, you just have to take your jacket off for a moment to get the braces on. Full length zips can of course cause issues though. They're designed for mountain/aerial rescue workers so sit better with a harness on than probably anything else.

More breathable than the deluge trousers so in theory they're marginally cooler and more comfortable over cutting trousers. In theory...

Hi Yvonne,

Would it be possible to make a large segment at the top of the inner leg with a stretch material as waterproof trousers have always been so rigid and difficult to keep in the right place so you don't split the seems? (Have big backside and don't want to put it through them) lol
