Boot repair?

Anyone used this lot, I was going to send my old Lowa GTX boots in as the sole is coming away, then I saw they did Haix work boots. I have a couple of pairs of Haix boots that have good uppers but split soles. For £45 it seems worth a shot given the price of new boots...

Well worth bearing in mind: I've recently sent a pair of boots back to Altberg for re-soling @£70 (which I'd expect for a manufacturer repairing their own boots) and when I e-mailed Haix in Germany asking if they did such work the reply was 'you'll have to ask your local (Haix) agent'!

Will definitely give these a go; thanks.

On a similar note - I have a pair of protector pros, and an old pair of blue mountain (both haix). Both are good leather, soles etc...

But the steel toecap has shifted, my old blue mountain ones are unwearable and the protector pros are heading that way. Anyone know if this is repairable?

Are you sure the toe cap has shifted? On a pair of Haix I have, the leather on the tongue has split, allowing saw dust to get between the leather and the liner. That has worked its way down to the toe area and created a bulge in the liner that rubs on my big toe. I believe this is quite a common problem. :001_smile:
