Got the Burley 12kw. Absolutely great wood burner. Kicks out lots of heat, also room is sealed so heat stays in the room.

When you say " room is sealed " do mean it has the air to the stove piped directly from out side , strait into the back of the stove ?

I have a hunter herald and it is a beast of a thing. Does the hot water and rads ( handles about 14 rads). It is fairly hungry on wood when we are at full chuff but no where near as dear as burning gas or oil. Really pleased with it and the real not often talked about benefit of having a log burner with a back or surround boiler is that it doesnt ever get too hot. My last woodburner used to get so hot we had to open the windows in mid winter.

How do you "plumb" that in? Does it draw from under the floor, or do you need something though the outside wall?

Think its called the " room seal kit " I had the option with my Burley but not on an outside wall so could not use it . Air intake for stove is piped directly to the out side so stove is not taking air/oxygen out of the room also cold air is denser there fore contains more oxygen so a more efficient burn takes place .
