If the vehicle you are driving is sub 3500kgs you do not need driver CPC regardless of what is or isn't being towed by that vehicle.

I thin I said a transit which is a 3500kg vehicle , when its loaded your at your weight. so if you want to get your chipper home.........well wouldn't that mean you are over a 3500kg train weight ??

Yes it would, but for the CPC rules that is entirely irrelevant. :001_smile:

It is the vehicle you drive, not the train weight that matters.

Seems clear enough to me and I'm not that smart (as my wife keeps reminding me):biggrin:

 

I'm not saying you mustn't get your driver CPC, it may well come in handy sometime, just like a pilot's license, or an Ice-Dancing qualification, or a firearms license.

But like the pilot's license, you won't need one to drive a vehicle with a mam of 3500kgs or less:001_smile:

Just finished my third day and most of the class have slept through the entire course . I dont think the lad below was awake for an hour of it, another great idea brought to you by the EU :thumbdown:

Yup, spent 7 hrs of extreme boredom on Thursday past finishing my 5 days worth.

I am now attempting to corrolate a link between CPC Training and suicides.

There MUST be one!

i did my last one last sunday and received my cpc card tues wow that was fast post etc but i,am now a fully qualified professional class one nut behind the wheel driver ha ha but £260 light
