Rivet and stick on some ally channel now to uprights and bottom then drop in your ally planks? What I did

Or weld on some angle/flat/channel (whatever is to hand) and rivet the built-up ali planks to it. Really strong and fast. Slightly heavier than your suggestion though.

Sides in, before anyone says anything about dints this is a chip only box not for carrying big lumps of timber as we have trailers for this and nearly always run two vehicles to Jobs
4mm folded sheet in the channel and pulled tight can't flex it by pushing on it.
Top to fit tomorrow if I'm allowed out to play

I was also going to drive it across a small part of the Moroccan Sahara until two planes hit a couple of skyscrapers and put paid to that for several generations

I have cycled into the Sahara from our home on the coast and next year hope to travel deeper still.

I'd like to ride down to Timbuctu if the situation ever calms.

Whilst the interior of disputed Western Sahara, Mauritania and Mali remain 'difficult' much of Moroccan held territory is quite safe as is the coast.

To add, I feel safer in Morocco than many cities in France or U.K.
