That`s  no different to my old Foden setup except its got a crane behind the cab instead of on the trailer. Plans for this years revamp include another tractor unit like that Scania or if its still there may go for that one and an 8x4 hookloader with a few 40yard bins, a tray and may even mash the Morbark wtc into a hook frame. Will keep that DAF crane lorry for backup, moving single bits of kit, and takedowns.

That will be a amazing set up, I never got what the importance of double drive was until I saw a Jenkins lorry skating across my yard the other days

Happily or legally? 

 

Many, many, years ago I recal the crane operator asking how much it could carry as we lowered a 3 ton lump into our smiley transit. Tipped happily. But legally depends on the back but probably only 200 to 700kgs

With a standard buck and no arb body(ie high sides, toolbox etc) about 1.5t payload

I'd say you'd need an ally body for that payload.

 

The single cab LDV tippers were as light as they come really (metal costs money after all!?) and with the usual Brit Tipp steel tipper body they have around 1400kgs payload.
