Yes, i know what you meen. It has heavy duty springs as well! I was surprised how low it was when i had a full load of chip on.

 

Have you had it on a weigh bridge yet?

 

With a load bed that far back I think you will be appalled at how little legal payload you have. Don't forget the chipper nose weight.

Not yet but I would be interested! Thankfully not to many in west Dorstet. I know that by the time I had a decent load on, gear and extra person I would be over. Chipper + trailer must be about 400kg, does nose weight go toward gvw?

No its towards gross train weight but applies some nose weight onto the towball which inturn increases your rear axle weight. Quite often with a landy tipper you are OK on gvw but over on the rear axel because of the way the load is positioned over and behind it especially with tool lockers pushing it back further. I know this is definitely the case with my 130twin cab.
