Could they recycle chipboard to make new chipboard ? Lots of old furniture goes to the dump.

I imagine it could be but they tend to stick some plasticky crap veneer on top, and who would want the job of peeling that off? Cheers, Steve

Hi all, as bald eagle stated may be from ribblehead, but more than likely from crainlarich at the top of loch lomond as there is 2 trains a day come down the west coast line past our house and 9 out of 10 of them belong to UPM Tilhill and will either be going to shotton paper for news print or cronaspan for chip.

The log trains (operated by Colas Rail) run principally from Carlisle (loaded at the old Kingmoor Yard) Ribblehead and Kinsteignton. They were also loaded at Exeter after the storms earlier this year. They occasionally run from other places such as South Wales (Baglan Bay I think) and all of the logs are destined for the Kronospan factory at Chirk.

Shotton Paper havn't received logs by rail for years and Crianlarich hasn't been used as a rail loading point for a long time.
