Something like "woodlots" where you look to buy and sell trees/logs.

Could have an on offer and wanted categories.

I know this sort of covers firewood, forestry, milling and carving but would be good to have one place to go to see.

Its worth having a good dig through all those settings...you don't know what you might find :001_smile:

Just a word of caution though...you cant reply to the email...its just a notification. Any replies end up coming to my email

Is it possible to have it set up so you can reply to the email to message the person back?

So I can do it on my phone, becuase signal here it too bad to log on to arbtalk on my phone browser!

Or is there another way to PM people that doesnt need you to go on the main site?

What about a "return to top" button at the end of the thread conversation. Especially useful if you have your browser set to view 40 posts like me.

Am the buttons, search, forums, directory etc are at the top and disappear when scrolling down. Or, even "freeze" the top frames where the buttons are, like in Excel so they are always there and handy?

If you are reading on a computer the Home key takes you to the top or the End key to the bottom.

Dont know if its been mentioned before, when looking at a list of posts could it be set so that it opens in a new window/tab? Would save having to go back to main listings.

Right click on the link, choose "open link in new tab" or "open link in new window".

That's on a PC with Firefox, but most browsers have a similar option these days.

A log and chip tip site database?

That presents a few issues, mainly how many people are going to want their actual yard addresses listed publicly, and anyone listed would probably need a waste license of sorts I would assume
