Arbtalk prevents me from doing the things I should be (in a good way maybe) On a wet day when I should be catching up on paper work and those other bits that never get done, I find myself drifting onto the forum! It's all about time management discipline! It's a very useful tool and resource in the right hands! I think I have it under control.

I were having a chat with the Boss tother day,

We were discussing doing research on tinternet, regarding products or subjects we knew knowt about.

We virtually simulteanously said that it was easy to filter out the real-world sensible informed advice.

From the uninformed spouting.

Even for topics with which we were not familiar.

Strange but true.

Edit

Still searching on here for advice on plumbing and tiling the en-suite for the daughter.

All I find is endless discussions about trees.

Honest John nor the Farming forum are a deal of help either.

I personally feel that information can be picked up anywhere from anybody, its only when that information is put to practise do we know if it works or not.

When I first came on to arbtalk before starting a career in trees I had no idea about anything, arbtalk led me to jonsie show from there I met many many different faces which I then found out was on here, these people have gave me more knowledge about tree work, climbing, machinery and even business which I certainly didnt know 3 and half years ago

So it all depends how pick through the opinions of others

Best of luck mate

- To prevent plumbing leaks make sure all your joints are watertight

- Spend a night on the tiles and you'll be fine

Hope this helps
