wireless easy to install at the front you have a receiver box needing live and earth connection with a video output lead then on the back of the truck there is a sender that needs live(taken from the reverse bulb wire) and an earth and a lead from the camera to the sender

Bloke I know has one on his Nissan estate car . Was reversing using the camera ( fitted down low ) and a bracket from a tractor mount flail went strait through the back window ...

You can get an adapter lead to reverse the image if you need to, plugs in between the end of the extension lead and the monitor.

To the op, you won't regret fitting one. Depending on your work, if you go onto large construction sites, highway jobs, or other places with more h&s people than workers, many ask for rear view camera's.

Wish I had known about the adaptor then, I took it back for a refund. The camera worked at night like it was day time. I think it was supposed to be a security camera with a 1 in lens much better quality than these little chinese car cams.

We have them, providing you remember to wipe the lense as you walk past it, annoyed sitting in cab, turning vehicle on and just seeing a blur on foggy/icing mornings!

Has anyone considered putting two on, focused on a single point to provide perspective?

Got one - but will have to re wire it - it's wireless and the picture keeps breaking up..... :sneaky2:

My brother had a wireless camera fitted on his pickup. He didn't rate it. He found that driving around town he'd suddenly be looking at someone's CCTV security feed, he also said that it wasn't very reliable. When it packed up finally he replaced it with wired one and hasn't looked back if you pardon the pun.

depending on what you want you can always use multiple camera systems, in this case forwards (on tractor), reverse (back of chipper), inside hopper of chipper and on the end of the spout to see into trailer or even better reversing image or anything else you point the spout at !:sneaky2: ( I think) you can with this system choose any combination of camera and image
