I feel lucky to have got fleet renewal sorted last year, everything is sub 3 year old now.  Let my outgoing 1.7t go a bit cheap in hindsight, but then I bought the new one cheap too going by today’s prices. Swings and roundabouts.

I had the rsl non hydraulic thumb, very sturdy.  

I can never decide whether I'd prefer a hydraulic one or not, certainly be better at picking things up but looses a lot of the simplicity benefits

Your machine is more than up to the job and a thumb grab will work no problem. If its just for loading cordwood onto a trailer no need to go to great expense.

Yanmar stuff seems very underated for what you get for your money, this bobcat has a yanmar engine in it.

Customers machine we fitted with grab and rotator, only one auxiliary function so diverter mounted on the boom, always a bit more awkward routing the pipes with the pendulum style grabs, nice set up though
