No issue to load up the Slew, it's beating it against something with a shock loading that will do the harm.

A example would be knocking walls down by simply slewing quarter of a turn then sending the bucket into it sideways.

Aye, a slew has a case drain line so any excess pressure can escape. It's the planetary gearbox which suffers when monkeys as in your example get their hands on a digger :thumbdown::lol:

Looks a tidy enough solution to something many have probably thought of doing themselves?

Yep, I trialed the same idea a while ago. Made it out of an old farm gate. It's very handy for tight spaces and lugging things around, but 'd say it's far more useful to fit a towball to the dozer blade and use a single axle trailer. image.jpg.db603b09f2d89643aae3b3cf991a001a.jpg
