i'd have thought once was enough to convince you silky + rope = fall but six times; must have been the shock :001_tongue:. Seriously though pete good on you for doing this; am i alone in thinking there should be a section showing all the different tests that have been done by members (either intentional or unintentional but not resulting in hospitilisation or requiring medical attention)?

Very good, i remember them showing a silky cut through a rope when i first started college. It sure makes you think.

Great post Pete. Thanks for taking the time. It speaks volumes when a lot of the experienced guys are shocked by seeing that, so it can only go to highlight the dangers for the younger people coming in. Good work mate. :001_smile:

Very good selfless use of your time and experience Pete.

The next one could be, how many pairs of trollies you need to wear to combat a direct Big shot tea bag hit. :sneaky2:

Please can I volunteer to be the one firing the big shot please, please, please, nothing against you Pete honest. :001_cool:

i cna mind watching an american vid very similar, it had a 200lb weight on a rope, they touched it with a knife and it snapped, think it was caving line though....rope is rope though.
