I don't know why I torture myself, I just find challenging projects very satisfying.

Project is to buy this three gang mower with a nice Kubota engine and hydraulic circuits, rip all the fancy hydraulic circuits back to a basic flow, return and bypass.

 

Then take out all the electrical circuits, relays and safety circuits that control the removed hydraulic system back to another basic electrical system with low oil level safety cut outs etc.

 

It's going act as a mobile self driven hydraulic power pack to power my log splitter to free up the loader, I'm leaving all the drive hydraulics in

 

Pictures show from start to stage I am at now which is hydraulic circuits out and all looms cut open and needless electrics removed. All I need to do now is rewire everything to a made up control panel, with temperature, volt gauges and warning lamps

superb i like to see a good project that will sip diesel compared to a tractor or loader
