Since vids are being discussed in this general posting thread now, is there any chance we could have a request thread for videos. Would be interested in peoples winching techniques with the equipment they use and any recommendations/ preferences they have in removing hang ups and their basic setups. I know each situation is different but a general idea regarding size of trees v kit used would be interesting.

So I've just sat here and read through this whole thread.

Very interesting I will say the least. I loved this forum, I still want to love this forum, but quite frankly I don't feel welcome sometimes. There are some great people on here that have always given 100% good sound advice be it written, pictures, or video!

NOW......what some people don't think about.. Wait let me rephrase that... What some people tend to forget is that we are all different, we don't just look different!! We talk different, act different, smell different, WRITE different which a lot of people always forget and that is the downside to reading! There's no emotion there! Everyone digs at something. wether there just trying to be funny or there being dramatically serious is down to you how you read it! If it's sooooo bad and the mods haven't seen it! then report it, if it's still there next week then you need to consider how you read posts in the future because there was obviously nothing wrong with it.

my writing is terrible, how many grammar/spelling mistakes are in this post? It's readable and half of its ok, most is just dribble.

I want the forum to go back to the way it was 7/8 months ago.

There are people still trying to keep the old girl on the straight but straight ain't good enough when there's icebergs ahead... So if you want to save the forum then help out, if you don't care what happens then fair dues, but if your just going to stay to help sink it then just quite simply off!!!

I try and help we're I can and I know from response and feedback it's mostly appreciated.

If I'm honest though most posts I see are turning into the one main reason I don't competition climb!!!!

I'm going to carry on dribbling now! Because I can!!

I've made a lot of friends on here some I even work for, I can honestly say I'd be nothing without it. But if it wasn't for me making an effort and posting what I do then i wouldn't have the freelance work I have. Maybe it doesn't matter so much to someone who works for someone or owns there own business, or lives in another country but it matters to me and it matters to others.

Thanks for taking the time to read how you feel fit to read it :D

I've noticed you don't post as much on climbing stuff. I like reading your stiff on SRT especially as I'm only getting into it and you post some good photos as well. Keep it up:)
