Ok Huck have you ever invested x amount of money in a young lad over an extended period of time ? Only to find he jumps ship when it suits ? Taking all the qualifications he has gained with him .Not to mention all the time / effort wasted by yours truly . This is annoying to say the least . The lad needs to man up and play the game he entered willingly . No wonder the country has gone soft .

You don't know the lad, you have not spoken to him, you know nothing of his circumstances and yet you feel in a position to come out with that statement????????

All I would like is some honesty in why he has decided to leave so I can learn from it and hopefully build on it for the future if I ever decide to take on another apprentice. Nothing more nothing less

I can understand you feeling a bit put out but you would be better to ask him personally rather than doing it on here. It's inevitable that such a topic will turn into a real free for all and I can't imagine anything less likely to encourage Connor to respond. Out of interest, did he tell you that travel was the reason or did you come up with that yourself? I only ask as you seem to think that he is trying to have you over somehow. :001_smile:

this conner leaving thing seems to revolve around "poor old chris"

white noise quoted "he entered willingly" yes for hard days wet days good days bad days

but did chris admit ive got an OCD and it's probably going to do your head in

so maybe he's just had enough and is to polite to say it to you face

so perhaps your better off not pushing him for an answer

got to agree with that, I always like to hear both sides......and for the record he is only a nipper, we were all nippers once and have made good and bad decisions only as you get older can you look back more wisely

Cheers Matty

It seems to me you quite often make wild assumptions ? If you put you yourself up for praise please please Please be man enough to accept criticism .

How do you Know if I know him or not ? Do you know him ? Why do you feel the need to protect him ? All told if the lad is being praised for advancing in the tree game then surely its only just and fair he accept criticism at some point . It was up to him as an adult to let his career in tree work become public ? The young lad needs to get a grip and come on here and finish what he himself has let play out . I do wish the young lad all the best in whatever path he takes .

He did not, others posted his pictures.

I feel the need to try and protect any I feel are being bullied by others.

I think its some of you grown men who need to "get a grip".
