I understand exactly where you're coming from, but I think I would rather have good opinion badly presented than members feeling reluctant to respond.

 

Well that depends how badly the want a response.

 

Easy to read posts will get more attention.

 

If you make it hard for people to read they will be less likely to engage in a response.

I always consider the acceptable level of punctuation/grammar to be mine:001_tt2: any less and you're an idiot, conversely anyone who corrects me is a pedant.:001_smile:

My own spelling can be pretty atrocious at times, but what i find infuriating is the regularity with which the moderators have to change the spelling on thread titles.

 

This lazyness actually does make the site look bad, in my opinion :thumbdown:

Yes yes, I may have missed an apostrophe in my opening post, but generally, I'm not too shabby.

 

Agree with you there David and a point I hadn't quite thought of, for the general public and alike, looking in wanting information, it can look rather unprofessional too.

 

And ditto with Andy, you replaced the "i" with a "y" :001_tt2:
