I would love to get involved in debates and make friends with people on here

But im heavily deslexic and got adhd I just cant seem to put posts together which make sense with out causing offence.

The amount of times I have written posts and not posted them is unreal.

Plus I get annoyed when people start slagging each other off from behind there computers.

slagging off is best done face to face!!

I have got a voice recognition now so may see how that works.

If you don't count SOTP - no offence ment.

What's SOTP?

That'd be Song Of The Paddle I reckon? a Canoe forum

I've not been on there for ages but am a bit like some on here - I don't canoe but there's plenty of other associated bits that I do do and find it really informative.

I've been a member on arbtalk for a while and like many others, didn't really say a lot to start with. Once you realise that a bit of banter and threads veering off on a tangent is perfectly normal, then you soon overcome being quiet.

Even now, I still find myself writing and rewriting posts and sometimes sometimes not actually posting a reply at all, but I reckon that's the same for everyone (or maybe should be the case for some........)

Some stuff makes me cringe, some makes me laugh so hard it hurts, and some stuff makes me shout at the screen, but I find myself logging in at least once every day (I'm behind the times somewhat as my phone doesn't even take photos, let alone get the internet :blushing:).

I've met/worked with/bought from/sold to a good few members on here and so far nearly every one of them has been sound.

Came on here after spending time on Arboristsite.com, noticed all the chainsaw tech comments were pretty tame compared to US site and how things have changed:thumbup::lol:

Many good fellas on here, a few queer ones and not in that sense:blushing: but it all makes the world go round:thumbup:

I've been on here for about 7 years, the time in which I've been involved with forestry equipment of the chipper and grinder variety.I joined to get an insight of the people that use the machines, how they work, what they do....what they need, to give me an understanding of what an arborist is and does.....Its been very eye opening:001_smile:

I don't post up much because I'm here to learn about you people, not flog me wares...if you know what I mean :blushing:

Some of you on here know me,me dogs and me truck, a passion for other things in life......

I really enjoy dealing with people in this industry, with an understanding of their needs and their honest opinions and approach......

Thank you ArbTalk

BTW...Good thread :001_cool:
