New Hedge Cutter

I use a Husqvarna 325 hda55 it is 6 years old now and it cuts a lot of hedges each year never had a problem with the the engine had a couple of problems with cutter head which is made by Tanaka but only because it gets a hard life cutting stuff to big but we all do.

Stihl =crap I have many problems with there latest generation of hedge cutters it actually costs me money to run them 4 out of 5 don't run and I can't even now get spares for them on line so it costs me more money to run around and fix them.. Joke or fact ??

Stihl makes a lot of great gear, but I wouldn't classify there hedge gear in that. Weak gearboxes has been there main prob.

Echo and Husqvarna make great trimmers, my husky 324 has put in 10 years of work costing me an air filter cover and a sparkplug boot. As for the echo I have offered my guys to replace it every year but they wont hear of it.

Good choice.I bought the echo long reach recently and its been great.Adjusting the angle on the head is a doddle too.Just a pin and a quadrant to turn it through.

Smaller trimmer, i use a husky.Its always been handy and has a turnable handle for ease of use.
