I got a MS441 with a 28" bar,,kicks butt.

Do you cut softwoods or hardwood timber mainly? I ask because by UK standards - i.e cutting mainly hardwoods that is alot of bar for the saw. Work runs a 395 on a 28" as standard to compare

660's a lovely saw, you won't be disappointed.

im sure a dealer somewhere would have supplied you a larger bar than a 28" with the 395...its more than capable of running one

I had same dilema last year , usually run huskys 576 346 560 but went for ms 660 with 36 inch bar , cracking good saw well up to the job , but the 36 inch bar makes it nose heavy !

I've always bought Husky but no major pref really. Had a few little Stihls and have been happy with them. The thing that would put me off a new Husky is the stupid fiddly filler caps. But then, I find the anti vib on Huskys to be superior.
